I watched various TV news channels yesterday in relation to latest eruptions of violence in Eastern Europe. What is amazing to see is how words like "bullying" of a bigger nation against a smaller nation, and how the International Community responded with haste and vigor. My question is: "When the Negro poor are being "bullied" by the imposition of illegitimate trade embargo that maims & starves innocent orphans to what one can define as genocide, it's "all business as usual"! What hypocrisy!

Sorry, but it didn't. Inflation didn't turn into hyperinflation until years after ZDERA, the Zimbabwe Democracy and Economic Recovery Act of 2001, introduced in 2001/2002. (Google the name and the word govtrack.)
These sanctions are never mentioned when inflation in Zimbabwe is discussed, but the sudden absence of foreign currency and borrowing would cripple many economies.
