however if i may ask, are you animating the air pressure slider, and what about your mass and drag and lift settings, ive been messing for a few days and can not creat a balloon effect, with out animating the y direction motion.
Have you any advise before animating with clothes? I have a character with a t shirt, and I want him to move a lot and make the shirt to look as real as possible, but keeping the animacion easy to handle, how can I do it?
Thanks. TBH I don't rememeber how long it took to render all this stuff. I usually left my comp to render clip overnight.
Animating shirt is tricky: you need realistic wrinkles so densitiy of your geometry needs to be high. That automatically means longer computation times. Collisions can be problem too: you need to set iterations several times higher than default values.
Hope that helps, don't have much exp with nClothes, TBH. Clip above is just me messing w basic settings. :)
@KozzArt Great work, Do you mind telling me how did you get the fabric to perform that way I'm trying to get that wrinkle effect that you get from 17:00 to 20:00. Your help will be greatly appreciated!

in the third scene, where the cloth head shatters...
is it just a tear effect? or an applied shatter?
i need to know!

can you do a short tutorial on how to do some of these
i want to do the one which starts on 16 seconds, but my cloth is not flying away, the nucleus is not doing anything, i changed the settings

ok, lol, i still cant get anything to "inflatee"

Sry if thus has been asked...how do you get your cloth to reinflate at the end..???
jedisnow 11 months ago
@jedisnow
Pressure settings in nCloth node. Mesh acts as a baloon even if it has holes.

How much time did the render take?

Can I bake the simulation of the cloth?
Awesome work dude!!! congrats!!!! =D

@rotaryguru1984
Thnx.
I think it was 128x128 polyplane with collision iterations set pretty high. Wind settings in nucleus node were used to take it off the dummy's head.
kozzArt 11 months ago
nice job
what dynamics node did u use for the wind?
Omegaroth 1 year ago
@Omegaroth Thanks. I was messing with wind attributes in nCloth nucleus solver node
kozzArt 1 year ago
@kozzArt nice and how did u get the peices to scatter? shatter dynamics? your sun and sky lighting is very nice as well
Omegaroth 1 year ago
@Omegaroth
Thanks.
I put standard nDynamics Tearable Surface Constraint on nCloth object. Wind in nucleus solver node took care of the rest.
kozzArt 11 months ago
The one at 8 seconds was great, love the fracture effect, what did you use? Maya Fracture?

@liphttam Tearable Surface nConstraint

@kozzArt Thanks, my Maya Fracture happens to be broken and I can't figure out why. It won't actually fracture anything.
