REMEMBER: You must (after jailbreaking and installing files) cydia will be a white icon, so then u must put the iphone back on the computer with ur charger and then go to extras and click on just boot. Then put it in DFU mode and then it will boot up with a pinapple and then boot up normally. if this helps plz like so other people can see. :)

What makes me hesitant to break my iphone is all the vids and guides on various sites although helpful but also so much conflicting information and the lack of details like what type computer your using, having to point out iswp file or not and possible having to rename it so on and so fourth. Which is why I believe so many people fail. Can someone please point me out a FULL guide? I'm using windows vista, I have iphone4 5.0 CDMA

So I've had trouble restoring my idevices on both Mac and PC and Finally BenYourFriend at MacRoumer forum was able to help me (well someone else really) fix it.

1. Open up iTunes and restore as usual

2. when you get to the point where it keeps you waiting to restore simply open DISK-AID or iPhoneExplorer.

3. That's it. Done.

Don't know why it works, but it works .

Can anyone tell me why certain apps in Cydia keep crashing? I am on iphone 3Gs, and for some reason Iprotect and Unlimtones keep crashing. Well, what happens is they open, hit their title screen, then close. I should mention that they were both from Hackyouriphone. Is that an old source?

I need help\advice.... I used a previous redsn0w to jailbreak my iphone 4 on 4.3.3, then cydia started crashing....could not find packages, red text, etc...so I tried shift+restore with original 4.3.3 firmware in iTunes and it put the phone in recovery mode. I also tried a custom restore with an un-activated version of 4.3.3 since I am on an official carrier. Neither worked so I used this new redsn0w and it worked and I'm on 4.3.3 still but "No Service." How do I get back on original carrier?

i like this update i was able to downgrade my iphone 4 back to 4.3.5 i really didn't like beta 5 dont get me wrong i liked the features but i wasnt able to get winterboard fully active with out rebooting and since it was tethered it was annoying Lol

I use the last red snow to jailbreak my new iPhone 4 on 4.3.5 firmware I don't if anybody else experience this but I can't make phone calls only if I put my phone in safe mode then I can make phone call it's a real pain I wonder if this jailbreak is going to do the same. @DinoD7 Hey D7. I updated to 5.0B7 on my iPhone 4 gsm. It worked and when i had to reboot my phone after a cydia package i tried to boot tethered and i couldnt because my phone would just continuously start and shut off. I would just get connect to iTunes logo. Then the only firmware i could go back to was 4.1. I have shsh blobs for all saved and no go. I would like to at least go back to 4.3.1. Any help? Thanks!
