Its all speculation but personally i dont think hes dead. Here is why.

First, ive seen a couple random still-photos of him around the net in which he looks quite a bit older than he did in those videos-probably around 15-16. Second, it seems whenever some "youtube sensation" or popular youtuber comes along they always bow out and disappear with rumors that they died. Its a common way of ending your youtube career without being pestered about coming back and making more videos.
