i must add though lol... notice how on almost every stevens hit, the player gets surrounded by at least 1 or 2 guys.. i hate it when they play the 1-2-2 trap in the middle zone because its boring lol.. but its because players thought they could beat this NJ defensive wall at the blue line or in the middle zone, that allowed stevens to pretty much easily read the play and know where the player was going to try to make a move to then position himself to make a hit.. INGENIOUS!

Stevens is one of the best open ice hitters EVER. It's so funny to hear announcers say, "Let see if that was high stick or a cross check" and on almost every single occasion, Stevens hits people with his shoulder down and it's a clean hit.

That was TOTALLY a clean hit. You people saying "Stevens meant to hurt him" have no clue. Stevens was a natural hard hitter. Willis had his head down as he went in to Stevens' territory. It was HIS fault, and the entire reason he was bleeding. Stevens was a CLEAN player (listen, idiots...only 4 elbowing minors by 00-01). There's not a defenseman as intimidating as him in the NHL today.
