The MIDI device sounds outdated. Have you tried using the Host's Sound Blaster Card? I mean I have a Sound Blaster Audigy which has the Original Sounding MIDI SoundFont Feature.
Could please anybody tell me wich software or engine do you need to develop an interactive 3D enviroment that let you float smoothly all over it as the one in this wonderful game I also played many years ago??? I would be very grateful to anyone can help me
haha i still have this game !!! i used the money from my Confirmation to get this and samuri shodown.... in 1996 both games where £50 each !!! thats a shit load of money in ireland back then !!! £100 for the 2 worst games i ever played... 13 years on and i still feel bad i spent that much money ...it was so slow on the megadrive
Oh man, I just remembered how awesome this game was. I'd love a full 3d version of this for windows.
Come to think of it, this was just before they started making games for windows instead of DOS. Heh, I remember playing quake under DOS on a 120mhz Pentium and it played fine. But played under windows it was like a piece of dogshit. Can you imagine how powerful the PC would be as a gaming platform today if they had continued to make games for DOS?
have you managed to achieve full compatibility on DosBox? I have everything except for the voice overs for objectives - on the main map and inside the levels... any suggestions?
I tried it only once with some guy and it didn't work. We could connect to each other but it looked like it didn't function properly. You need to install NetBios on your computer.
Watching this as an 8year old made me shit my pants! God I love this game imma have to go find the cd and see if it still works :P

@SetaSiittio Get the DosBox Emulator. You can use it to play old DOS games.

I always hit escape at the start of this cutscene, so playing MC2 left me with "When you're a wizard..." stuck in my head.

'Dosbox' helps enables sound & music, but 'WinLauncherXp' (no sound tho) enables multiplayer LAN / Hamachi

I think it's a problem with the game. Those voice overs are played directly from the CD and it looks like they are just played too quiet.
I had that problem on my old win98 machine too.

You can use DosBox to play it on Windows. Search for DosBox on Google, it's the first match.
