The only two things that could have been done faster are :

0:07 : maybe a bit faster way to jump but im not even sure

0:21 : by jumping like 10ms after, you could have not touch the block

Even with this, it's near the perfection even for a segmented-run.

I didn't understand why they made this so quick. Completely random as well. One question:

Isn't the water supposed to be poison or contaminated and Sonic runs out of air quicker?

No, this is just a recolored Labyrinth Zone. The water is normal.

The trick is it's only faster if you know it's faster. If you don't know, then it takes much longer to finish.

Great shortcut, though I seem to remember some other part to Scrap Brain Zone that looked like a nightmarish version of Labyrinth where you were sliding down a series of water slides that never ended until you jumped on a certain platform... Meh... Maybe I'm just imagining things...

if you don't go down and stay on the platform at the beginning it is MUCH harder....but it's only fair that the same level of difficulty be present even if you jump off the platform...i am not sure why the producers would make it so easy one way and 10 times harder the other way...good job though...amazing music
