I extracted my slimkey by using a usb to sata adapter and hotswapping to VIA VT6421A chipset, will the dummy.bin with this process be compatible with the xkey?

@lewisjay1 no, you just need the original firmware of your drive (dummy.bin for slim or firmware.bin for fat) and you just put this file into the micro sd that comes with the x360 key, if you have flashe your odd already you should have your original files, if you dont there are some ways to replicate them, just google it, just click the link on the video (first one) and read the description to go the installation tutorial it shows the whole process of installation for both fat and slim

@lewisjay1 thats the tricky part, you can use a tool like jungle flasher (obviously you need to connect your drive to a sata port on your pc with a compatible chipset) the exact process really depends on your drive model, you can also use hardware like maximus lizard360(recommended) or usbpro, there are many tutorials, you just need to google a little,though i recommend you to look for a modder and ask him to extract the files for you.
