dude i bet thats shaking your house. I just picked up 2 rf82s and i dont have a sub yet and i watched the clone wars the other day and just the rf82s shook my freakin foundation!! Love these speakers. Iim picking up a rw10d sub in 2 weeks and i cant imagine what thats going to be like with these speakers

I really don't like Star wars sound. THX is nothing but a award for a few minor qualities in amps and speakers. Try something pro like QSX amps and some real studio monitors. Use pro cables, not the frilly Monster Cable brand. Get an unmastered version of a cd or movie to play and then show me...(Sorry, I just realized I was ranting) :)

I can tell even after this has been recorded, had it's quality lowered on Youtube, then played back through my computer speakers that these sound great. I'd love a pair of these, but unfortunately that kind of money doesn't come easily to someone my age. I'm going to get some of their bookshelf speakers sometime.

My father owns these speakers and we use the klipsch 10" sub with them for more bass extension. With a honest power supply however you can get great deep natural bass without a sub.

i've spend above 8000€ for all the system, but only for sound : the Klipsch you can have RF82 for 800€, RC62 for above 350€, RS62 for 800€, my RX-V2600 cost 900€ when i bought it ... speakers cables above 240€

Make a gift to your KLIPSCH ... buy a Yamaha DSP-Z11 or a Denon AVR-43 ... Klipsch are really good

yes RF82 are very very nice, i recommand you to see my video : Klipsch RF82 - Action 2. This is very spectacular !!! I'm on moving and having a new room with 22.5m² for my future Hometheater, i will do something really better but for the begining i will put a new movie for all of you :)

Amen! Bose sounds and is priced like ass!

But, I personally prefer Wharfedale over Klipsch. Klipsch speakers are REALLY treble heavy with those horns, and Wharfe's are balanced; they got the soft-dome tweeters. Lol my girlfriend's dad was looking at some Klipschs, but when he heard the Wharfedale EVO2s he was stoked on them, and he saved nearly $2000. But, the system in the video is still mad nice!

I went into hoping to get talked into the Quintet III ... I'd been eying them for years.

Instead I convinced myself to get a Pair of RF-62s instead of a full blown 5.1 ... then when they were out of stock, I got the RF-82s.

Part of me is still jealous ... these things are huge!
