Night-time desert is the most primal & purest environment for creating noise, especially for rock of this genre. Who needs a roof and seats?

Memories of wood pallets, amps, generators, bon fires, kegs & etc. back in my h.s. days, class-80, at an area known as 'White Gates', out in the boonies east of El Paso, TX.

There was a band of locals, Nemesis, that used to cover A LOT of Bon Scott era AC/DC (the only one that matters, btw).

Great to see the natural venue movement is strong. \m/ \b/

ok, tnx for the answer, btw i watched some of your work, and i must admit that i love it. can't wait for lo sound desert documentary, it is great idea for making such film about "palm desert scene". i personally am a big fan of stoner/desert/whatever rock/metal , and have a chance to see live brant bjork, yawning man,truckfighters, karma to burn, and looking forward to see kyuss lives this weekand in budapest! keep up the good work, and wish u luck in negociating :) cheers from cro XD

The last song is Smart Monkey by Gusto, off a 3 track ep/demo from '09 (at least that's when I got my hands on it). The lineup - Mike Neider (Bl'ast) on vox and guitar, Dave Dinsmore (Bl'ast, Unida) on bass and Alfredo Hernandez (Kyuss, QOTSA, Yawning Man, Vic Du Monte's Persona Non Grata, etc etc etc) on drums. I don't think that they are together anymore though, shame.
