  • this is so beautiful album !

  • Favoloso ! This is Motorhead's best song ever. Hardrocking and one of the best guitar solos in rock history. Listened to this over and over in the mid-1980s, never tired of it.

  • Another Perfect Day...WHAT A PERFECT ALBUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So but so underrated when it first came out unfortunately. From the rare occasions that ALL the songs of an album were good. Brian Robertson played a hell of a guitar back then!

  • Really sounds amazing! Brian really classed up this band while he was in it.

  • I liked classic Motorhead i.e. Fast Eddie and Philthy but Another Perfect Day still stands as my favourited album the sound of the tracks really does stand out not quite Thin Lizzy and Motorhead but still a nice blend IMO.

  • had to be totally wicked to go from thin lizzy to motorhead for sure

  • 1:39 funny line!

  • Comment removed

  • one of the great unknown songs...one of the best

  • CATERVA!

  • not bad!

  • brian roberston was a really an evident plus for motorhead for the groove and songwritting

  • I cant get enough of this song.Robertsons guitar playing is good.My all time favourite Motorhead song.

  • @steeplepossum39 this is my favorite motothead song as well, Robertson is burnin on this, and Lemmys bass is just huge sounding on this one

  • Lemmy is GOD!

  • and fuck bieber dont forget that

  • this is my favorite motorhead song

  • Its sooo cool watching Lemmy Jam,... He's sooo Cool!!!

  • My favorite Motorhead song EVER.

  • jo on VITTU jos vielä joku ei tiedä kuka on ÄIJJJJJJJÄ!!!! sano KEIJO.

  • Thats the spirit, play hard, ride fast, fuck sheep.

  • @LizardRecords Lemmy's f***ing hot women even though he's not a looker because this song is pure sex!!

  • ils ont couper le solo, fait chier -_____-"

  • True hard rock perfection

  • CATERVA!

  • Love this.

  • i was listening this song when i was 14.

    now i' m 40.

    still sounds sooooooooooooo goooooooooooooood !

  • What Live performance is this from? I have seen several videos that have the same lineup with Lemmy with shades on.

  • @Stoney15 The video was called 'Deaf Not Blind', not really live, but mimed.

  • @BledZeppelin Thanks

  • @Stoney15 I Think they are just clips, not real lives

  • BEST MOTORHEAD EVER!!!! ROBBO YOU THE MAN!!!!

  • Motorhead's greatest and most under rated song of all time

  • @TheEhce I dont think this song is the most underrated, but true is that is the best album for me of Motorhead

  • @MaxxAue Agree strongly !!!

  • Another Perfect Day is the best album of Lemmy GROUP for me ...

  • This song is excellent, and Lemmy is IMMORTAL. I don't understand the carping against "Robbo" either. "He's a bit melodic eh?" Yes, but he's DAMN GOOD. Listen to Thin Lizzy's "Live And Dangerous." It's too bad he only did the one album with them.

  • @DissentingVoice Wasn't he on 'Black Rose' as well as 'Jailbreak' ?

  • @ScotRanger1960

Not Black Rose. He was in Thin Lizzy before that and after Night Life. One album he didn't play on (Bad Reputation) because he broke his wrist in a bar fight. Robbo was a real firecracker, supposedly he came on stage with a too too at a Hell's Angels concert. That did not go over too well.

  • @grant1r

I bow to your superior knowledge of Thin Lizzy. Wasn't Brian Robertson on the back cover of 'Black Rose' standing on stairs ?

  • @ScotRanger1960

No, Gary Moore plays on Black Rose throughout. Maybe you're thinking of 'Fighting'?

  • @grant1r

OK, I'll take your word for it. What's the title of the album then where Brian Robertson (and I think the rest of the band) are standing on a flight of stairs (on the back cover) ?

  • @ScotRanger1960 that would be Bad Reputation...Robbo "guested" on 3 of the 9 songs on that album, as he was officially no longer a member of the band

  • @heavenhelp1982 Thanks for the info. So I was partially correct then.

  • @ScotRanger1960 yeah, you were close enough...he was excluded from the front cover of that album though, as Phil and the management were still pissed off at him

  • @heavenhelp1982 Yes, Robertson was indeed a bampot (Scottish word for crazy person.) I do remember the front cover, just the three of them.

  • great tune and brians just as good on this jam as on the rest

  • I never understood all the animosity against Robbo...anyone with 2 ears and half a fucking brain oughta be be able to appreciate the new dimension he gave Motorhead at the time. I mean, it still sounds like Motorhead for crissakes only with a really amazing guitarist!

  • Can't say this is just an ok song. I listen to it everyday before work, i just love that bluesy riff by Robo. Yeah, he' is no Fast Eddie Clark, but lets not forget he paid his dues in a little band called Thin Lizzy. Nuff' said!

  • TOO FUCKIN COOL FOR WORDS

  • This is cool song to me, but the solos by "robbo" sound like they are in the wrong song. Lame!

  • what a weak guitar solo. fast eddie was probably laughing at this spandex fuckhead

  • Motorhead fans hated Brian "Robo" Robertson because of his penchant for wearing spandex trousers and refusal to play such Motorhead staples as "Bomber" etc. He was only on one album

  • all these videos of the songs from 'another perfect day' are set in the same room. love it! they did them all in one sitting.

    minimum fuss... maximum rock'n'roll! :)

  • @ramman57

why the hell did you put this video up if you thought it was just "ok song"!!?

fuck man, this is their best!

  • My fave!

  • Is it true that Brian R now living in Stockholm? Great fucking song. I love Motörhead.

  • One track mind...Ha,ha,ha! Sound like me!

  • Sorta sounds like Bastered Ted Nudgent!!!! Don't be fooled by me! I like Motor Head.!!

  • for me the best album motorhead ever created ...

  • Brian Robo is very nice hardrock guitarist!!

  • my fave motorhead song

  • Best Motorhead song ever!!

  • great song, used to see clips of this on Mtv years ago

  • they should kill MTV's whole employement

  • lol -agreed

  • lol -agreed

  • Song of man

  • das zweite ist eindeutig eines der für mich besten, großartigsten gitarre soli, die ich je gehört habe ...

  • Don't you just hate the way they cut the solo out on songs ....just as Robbo's about to let rip, they give us the last ten seconds.

  • what a shame people didn't accept robertson , lemmy wasn't better since this album

  • Probably the best thing Motorhead ever done. And all down to Scottish guitarist Brian Robertson.

  • @ScotRanger1960 Being of partial Ulster-Scots descent, I can see why you feel that way! Robbo is good, no question.

  • @ScotRanger1960 ace of spades and overkill are better...

  • this one is a good one - heavy "zz top" like groove

  • good song, this is the first time i heard it, i think i have a new number 3 faverite, only after wish you were here and hey hey my my outta the blue into the black

  • Been my favorite Motorhead song since I first heard it when I was 13 years old in '83!

  • more than an "oka song" amazing jam dude!

  • Robbo is the king.. amazing guitarrist! ;)

  • brian robertson is amazing!

  • klassik lemmy look in the vid!!!!

  • I wanna be just like Lemmy when I grow up. Wait, I have grown up, I still wanna be like Lemmy, fuck it.

  • hey im 14 im attempting to live the Lemmy Kilmister signature life style xD, im not even close but my singing and bass style is close, but certainly not and never will be as good as Lem's, Motörhead Förever!

  • @fjkseattle Don't worry.. That's because he grows older too..

  • @fjkseattle you grew up? poor bastard...

  • Mycket bra!! Hail from Sweden

  • good song, great guitar soloing from a lizzy vetern

  • One hell of a track....loved the album. Motorhead purists probably don't like this era but there are some great melodies in this album without loosing the Motorhead edge. Thanks for the posting together with "I got mine".

  • best motorhead song/video ever!!!!

  • amen the guitarist of the simple minds

  • saw this on night flight for the first time...think i was like 13 or something...MOTORHEAD ROCKS...

  • haven:t heard that one for lets say 15 yrs!!

I admit: APD best Rock n Roll album of all times!

but didnt they cut some part out of it here?

  • It sounds like "heavy duty rock n roll" by spinal tap.

  • THEY NEVER MADE ANYTHING BETTER BUT another perfect day

  • they never made anything bettter but APD

  • P.S. This is one of my favourite solos EVER... "Robbo screams the blues"...

Technically far from perfect, but oozing heart & soul.

  • u mean lemmy

  • I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks APD is a great album. I was 13 when it was released and bought the cassette... I loved it and still do.

The concert in Barcelona was a disgrace that year, as people started throwing coins at Brian, and Lemmy got mad, jumped down the stage and started beating the crap out of people. End of it.

It was my second concert ever (first was Saxon) and almost shat my pants!

  • No, you're not the only one at all. I LOVE this album (along with pretty much everything Brian Robertson ever touched).

Whether or not he was "right" for Motorhead is a debate that will run and run, but I for one am so happy & grateful this album exists. 2 Rock giants from opposite ends of the spectrum coming together & trying to meet in the middle, ended up making an absolute gem of a record.

  • i like that very much, so i really prefer the brazilian rock band "CATERVA"!!!!

  • the director really liked closing in on brian... alot

  • That's cos Brian's a cool dude

  • Agree... He appears really cool in this video

  • why have you put "ok song" in the description. I don't know why you bothered putting this video up if you thought the video was only 'ok'.

anyway.. this is 1 of the best from motorhead, and im not even particualy into the band! but i have this album ; )

  • when i was young..... beer hard rock and girls! ^^

  • Another perfect day, in my opinion, is Motorhead's best album to date because it's alot more melodic an. Brian fitted in well musically and his style complimented Lemmy's songwriting

  • Oh yeah, old Hard Rock School!!!!!!Greetings from Greece!!!!!!

  • "Another Perfect Day" this album jams balls out! every song rips! thanks.

  • ive always loved this album. even though Brian Robertson didnt fit into the band, he brought a new element into motorhead that they never had before...or since. a great lead guitarist.many of the songs on this album are really great.

  • Didnt fit in? WTF??? Just cuz he wore a headband, leg warmers, and had the 80's look? This album was a masterpiece and his sound is incredible with Motorhead. If anyone doesnt fit in its these new clowns! Dee should have never left King Diamond.

  • brian robertson was a friggin primadonna. he refused to play classic Motorhead stuff like Ace of Spades live, he was too drunk to play a lot of nights and was an all around pain in the ass. Lemmy himself has said that robbo didnt fit in and only wanted to be a special guest star instead of a real member of Motorhead. that being said, i thought he was a great guitarist and i think musically some of these songs are great. personally, the guy was a bone head.

  • "Another perfect day" is a great album. Though I think Eddie Clarke was the best guitarist with his raw sound, Brian Robertson did fit well musically in the band. He played the older songs very true to Eddies style, and his work on "Another perfect day" is brilliant.

Phil Campbells guitar sounds dull and boring in my ears. Mikkey Dee doesn't fit in Motorhead. He's too technical and doesn't have the "right" looks. Just my own opinion, and other people like them, I know.

  • BEER

  • To me this is a fucking masterpiece of an album, it's pure snobbery that stopped it being viewed as such.

  • Btw does it ever happen that they play any songs from this album at their present live conserts? I haven't seen them live since their two guitar days (Wurzel + Glenn Campbell) so I wouldn't know, saw them in Gothenburg Sweden in -86 (hrrm... cough... blushing, but yes, never since

  • Last time I saw them was in July (Rock Zottegem - Belgium), and then they played "I Got Mine" and I loved it

  • To this day I really don't understand why this album was so poorly received not only by critics but apparently by fans as well. I was 14 at the time, and this still remains a milestone to me (ok not as great as A.O.S. and the like, but still). Sure YES Brian Robertson was NOT Eddie Clarke, but God Damnit! Listen to what these three lads put out here! To me it's not just a cherished part of my teens, it's great rock'n roll music. And to any Motorhead fan, that should pretty much do the trick...

  • I never really liked the album...then 20 years later I see and listen to it and I realize Lemmy's real class. What a ballbreaking wonderful song!

  • my life story g. funkin' phil taylor iz da shit loc!!! 4 realz

  • Love the solo!!

  • Two Black eyes....LEMMY!!!!!!!

  • you still got my shades freak!

  • awesome i like eddy the fast clarke more tha robbo but still robbo was master in motörhead!!!

  • I had high hopes for this version of the band. I remember them being featured in Creem, America's Only Rock & Roll Magazine!!

  • Great track, great album, fond memories of those times. Now I'm middle-aged and boring and Lemmy is still out there living his dream. Some get lucky, some don't I guess.

  • robbo was awsome!!!

  • & Scottish ;-)

  • What an awsome tune...wow..memories, and still love it...killer Band

  • WTF with the first solo? This is lip-synched anyway; why not keep it in?

  • The master of us all

  • Shame they cut the solo.

3 RING CIRCUS - WAY TO GO!!!

  • Motörhead Fuckin' Rules!!

  • Motorhead Rules!!

  • one of all time fave Motorhead songs!!

  • TWO BLACK EYES!!!!

  • ok song? A DAMN GOOD SONG!

  • Robbo always wears that vest...

  • maybe the best Motörhead line up ever!

  • Robbo was better with lizzy

  • I love it how robbo always plays with a cigarette in his hand and takes drags between the shortest breaks in the song.

  • ou yeah, my mistake :)

  • No, it's with Brian Robertson and Phil Taylor.
