  • It's a good flier and for $99 a bargain down here in New Zealand. electrics from Hobby King. it has lots of lift for its weight so its easy to get airborne with a 300W set-up but agree with others - needs to be flown in scale way. The flaps in this respect are useful esp if mixed with down elevator trim to give the scale transition from level cruise to pitch-down without increase in airspeed on the downwind leg of the circuit reduced speed on landing.

  • @stefis6 ...which reduces roll on landing. Flying in and out of a tennis court (surrounded by a waist high hedge) are fairly easily managed in this respect - easier with flaps, which is not so apparent with a large field where precision is not required.

It handles turbulent wind conditions poorly.

I have inlaid LED strips in mine - diffusing light through the foam of the wings, fuselage and tail to make an a night-flyer too.

  • Nice to see it flown in a reasonably scale manner. No loops, rolls and inverted and all the better for it

  • Beep Beep Baa!

Don't you get problems with sheep poo getting on the aircraft in that field?!
