Theyre just for fun.There only ONE of the pictures in this/my video thats real. and its the one at 1:32 which is for the Godzilla movie that's still in the script stages of production. I didnt say the first image was supposed to be official. I don't know who did but they are wrong. I made the first image on the video for fun.

Sad I know, It really sucks. I, along with a lot of others are really disappointed with this. it was supposed to come out this year, but its been taking a long time to get the script right. BUT, for the movie's sake I guess it's a good thing, even though it takes longer. The better the story is, the better the movie is. Plain and simple. If they rush the movie it could turn out like a big steaming pile of shyte! Just like Godzilla 1998.

If you own them all, as I do, you would know that Godzilla has died a few times and the original never made it out of the first movie (Gojira, 1954). Attention Fans: below you will see a 6 part 'article' on the last 30+ years of G Films...I did this because i noticed alot of confusion and misinformation about the series' different G's, and story arcs (and LOTS of arguing). I have been a fan of Gojira for 40 years now-and have lots of info which I thought might help out. In the end we are all G junkies-and should ALL unite and be friendly! Arguing gets us nowhere. When we gracefully admit we are wrong, it makes us stronger & respected! Cheers!

Part 6: so here we had a film (Final Wars) which ignored all previous Millenium AND Heisei series entries. It succeeded in adding more of the childlike charm of the late 60's early 70's G flicks-but I'd rather have MY G a 'Force of Nature' and mistake of man's playing with nuclear weapons. NOT a 'child friendly defender of Earth'-just my opinion. For Final Wars to have been a better film, an extra 45 mins. of fight scenes would have done it. Highlight:G stomping on Tri-Star 'Zilla'-Hope I helped

Part 5: I personally feel the scaling down of G's spines were an improvement-I LOVED the G 2000 design, but felt the spines were just a BIT too long. And I prefer blue breath (blue implies greater heat, and if it ain't broke...)-anyway, 'Final Wars' MAY have been Jr.-but we won't know unless Toho confirms this. While 'Final Wars' was cool-it lost alot of seriousness, and the battles were RIDICULOUSLY SHORT-a waste of all that character redesign. The martial arts added flavor, but the film lacked

Part 4:After the issues in G. Against MechaG (Mecha runs wild after realizing he is battling his own kind), we had Mothra asking Japan to let the '54 G to Rest In Peace. If they don't agree-Mothra will destroy Japan along with G. I won't spoil the ending for anyone who missed this one (Tokyo S.O.S.), but let's just say in my opinion this was the last great Millennium Series G Film. While many fans mistake this G for G2000-he is NOT. The design is VERY similar-but G's spines were scaled back...

Part 3: After 'Giant Monsters' (directed by acclaimed Gamera 90's series director Shusuke Kaneko), G returns again to his blue flamed glory in 'G Against MechaG'-this again is a NEW Gojira-who rises from the depths. To battle this new G, Japan hunts down the bones from the '54 G and creates a Bio-mech weapon in 'Kiryu' (Mecha-G)...the direct sequel involves Mothra who is against the use of the dead G's bones as a weapon to fight G-and asks Japan to STOP and end the project & return G's bones...

Part 2:After Tri-Stars G was met with fan disdain, Toho struck back with G 2000-a BRAND NEW G. He was sucked into a black hole in the sequel: vs. Megaguiris. Then we had 'Giant Monsters' which had a completely different EVIL G possessed by the souls of the japanes victims of the H Bomb. This was an 'alternate universe G (so to speak)'-like in many comic book story arcs-which explains why the origins of Mothra, Bragon, and Ghidora were changed to 'guardians' of the earth,,,more in Part 3...

Part 1:Guys- G fans shouldn't argue first off. We should all agree on one thing--Godzilla '98 STUNK, and was NOT the real 'G.'-just as was said in the beginning of Toho's 'Giant Monsters All-Out Attack. Here is the thing in a nutshell: The Heisei Series G was from 1985 until 'Destoroyah'-that was the film in which he DID die. But we had 'Junior' at the end shown revitalized by Big G's radioactive breath. The G in 'Final Wars' was hinted at being 'Junior G.'-but this was never confirmed by Toho.

Doubt it.

They got David Goyer who's a fan of the Comic's Godzilla, an Gareth Edwards who's also a fan an said himself he went out an bought all the other Godzilla DVD's he didn't have after being hired to get to know the character.

That alone shows more dedication to this film then anyone involved with Tri-Stars abomination. An Thomas Tull CEO of Legendary is a huge fan an is the main reason behind this Reboot. Add Toho being involved this time.

I'd say it's in pretty good hands.

@XxComablackxX1937 I feel bad for the guy, honestly....he's going in with no real big picture experience, and right out of the gate, he has this enormous weight on his shoulders (dare I say...Godzilla-sized?) NOT to screw up the way the last American attempt did. I like that he seems to have some sober respect for the project - but given his inexperience, I do rather hope there's someone sort of steering him in the right direction, watching over his shoulder. Just in case..

@sonbuhitsunei I was thinking the same thing, I hope he doesnt crumble under the pressure and quit. I have a feeling this is why its taking him so long. He's gone from making a movie all by himself with like a few other people thats it, to being thrown into a gigantic (no pun intended) Hollywood monster movie by a huge studio with millions of dollars! And its all on his shoulders! Not to mention one of the biggest properties in cinematic history! lol. you know what I mean?
