  • Great musicians but shouldn't talk.

  • This was a local cable television broadcast and Dale was the host. The audience for an interview/performance show, expects that somebody asks questions and introduces songs.

  • When you here Laura's theme in the movie that is my great grandfather playing that on his mandolin.

  • It's actually Laras' theme. Most enjoyable however

  • On sheet music, the title depends on which music publisher's copy of it you are looking at.

  • Never thought of it that way

  • Is your grandfather's name Edgar Stanistreet of Philadelphia?

that's who played it on the balalaika in the movie theme.

  • is there another name for that song? i can't seem to be able to find it though it is famous.

  • It's was the love theme in the soundtrack to Dr. Zhivago. The Ray Conniff singers recorded it with lyrics, under the title, Somewhere My Love. It was very, very popular for use in Muzak arrangements...heard in elevator everywhere.
