Having had some inquiries as to whether there will be a formal memorial service held in celebration of Yar's, well accomplished life, an opportunity for his many friends to meet again in his memory, I cannot say more, than that I readily await that day. As one who will always hold dearly, the goodness of him, I think that a fitting tribute would be for we who were blessed with his presence, to meet again, in mutual accord, on April first 2012. As to the details, we can work them out.
I rather see it as loss to the world. Thank you for helping me to deal with it, you should have know him, they broke the mould when he was born! I thank him mostly for seeing so many things in me that I never could see, myself. What more can I say that isn't in the words of the music, "Goodby my friend"...
