The Presley's were "in the limelight" and subjected to pressures we plebians will never know, thankfully. They weren't trained from childhood for the lifestyle they had and it's not surprising events unfolded as they did. It comes down to choices we make and they made them as flesh and blood people. What would we have done? It would have been wonderful if the love story continued though.
