  • Thanks for this video....I just bought some at Achivers and was curious how people use them. But I do have a question though. What if you have 5 and 6 yards of 1 trim? Do you cut it down or use it on something else?

    Angie

  • Thanks a million for the info!!! This helps ALOT!!! Just curious...do you ever worry about them getting dusty??? Maybe it is just me and my Texas region but dusting is an everyday necessity that I don't always have the energy for so I worry about them getting "ruined" with dust.

  • FAB Video.I actually purchased this system over a year ago...I have been baffled about how to "hang" the whole roll of ribbon. I have all the PTI ribbons in all the colors as well as most of the SU satin and Grosgrain...These roll are at least 5yds. So do you cut the rolls into partial pieces or leave it real long...If you cut it do you put all the pieces on the same tag or do you store it elsewhere? Any help would be appreciated.

  • @jeffnval1 HELLO!!! I place the hooks as high as possible on my wall then I hang the ribbon almost to the floor. If there is to much ribbon on a spool I split it in half or sometime I will have 2-3 ribbon ring fasteners of the same ribbon but I like it better than the spools. Hugs, T

  • @TERIBERI2 Thanks so much for that...I loved how you showed how to use it!!!! How do store your nice trim!

  • @jeffnval1 Great question!!!! I really needed to know about that. Thanks for asking her...

  • Cool beans! Ive been putting my ribbon in these and its great to see someone who has it completed already! It looks as good as I was hoping! TFS girl!

  • @pinkaboo6691 HI SAMANTHA!!! Well it does take a long time and if you keep buying ribbon it's never ending - trust me LOL but once you have it all done, it's easy to maintain. Just make sure that as soon as you come home with a new spool to transfer it to a ribbon fastener ASAP. You will LOVE the system. Hugs, T

  • totally fab sis, you gotta come help me do mine...love ya

  • @reginaeaster .....hhhhmmmm I'd need to take a two week vacation to help you get all your ribbons done - hee hee!! NOT A BAD IDEA LOL Thanks sis!! Hugs, T

  • Very cool system! I think I may try this once I have collected enough ribbons and lace. All those you have hanging looks like art! haha, very beautiful collection you have:)

    xoxo Jules:)

  • Did you see the ribbon ring website lately? Your Youtube video is front and center on their products page! How fun!

  • Do you put whole rolls of ribbon on the tags or just scrap pieces? I think I would need about 500 of those tabs. he he he Thanks for sharing!

  • It really depending on how high you have them hanging. There are some rolls out there that have 8 yards of ribbon. For some of my ribbons, I had to use 2 ribbon tags. My tags are hanging at about 5 feet. I did this little by little.....every month or so I would get a few more tags and keep hanging ribbons.....it really is a FABULOUS system once it's all set up. Hugs and smiles!! T

  • Wow, super idea and thanks for explaining the system so well. Valerie

  • Great idea Teri! I love it & it looks pretty too...

    Huggs,

    Gale The Happy Stamper :)

  • omg teri thank you so much ....great idea..im going to order this weekend i cant wait..

  • VERY cool!!! i love this idea Teri! I have all my ribbons and lace hanging on a tiered tie rack but they always get caught/snagged on each other. I like how these are on individual holders for each ribbon!! I think I'll give it a try!!! Thanks for sharing as always!! luv ya! hugs, Ar :-)

  • This is awesome, Thanks so much for the tip and for sharing!

  • geesh, I need to type slower or watch the keys today. I'm not typing well... lol, still you all are smart enough to read through my typos! :)

  • I DOES take a long time to get set up if you're a ribbon addict, but it's a WHOLE lot faster to do than feeling them through the bag with holes that I had before. Ugh, that was a mess... this system is cleaner and more holds a TON more!! Love it... Teri's ribbons look so perfect and pressed!! I may need to iron mine! LOL TFS Teri!

  • HI Teri!!! Thanks for the video! Yours is better than the one they have on their website!! lol!! I am definately going to switch over to this system!! Thanks so much for all your help!! Hugs!! Marianne

  • OH man I just got done redoing mine but I like the ribbon tags better ! TFS no I am going to go check them out !! HUGS, JANIE

  • Great video T. I'm off to check out their website. Thanks for sharing.

  • you might want to invest a couple of bucks into S rings so that your rings would be easy to take on and off of your prima rack.

    Thanks for sharing...

  • Jill what a great idea. My husband has some in the garage and that would work PERFECT!!! Hugs, T

  • IKEA has packages of S rings for pot racks that I use for craft items (that's how I store my most used clear stamp sets).

  • Great tutorial Teri! It looks so organized and beautiful! TFS

  • OOooo! Awesome organizing tip! I have them on binding rings as well, but they are strung up with safety pins instead. I love your method because the ribbon moves!

  • Wow! That is so cool!! :] That Must Be Very Helpful! :)
