  • @Chaoyigon i have the same problem but i learned to six step counter clockwise then kickturn continue the sixstep then baby swipe and into windmill(i still cant windmill X_X problem with getting into the freeze again X_X my leg keeps touching the floor)

  • Idk how you do it on carpet, but is it better to learn on carpet or a slick surface? And also, after I do one complete windmill and get ready to do another one, my elbow slides from the middle of my abs to my hip and bruises it badly. Anyone have that problem to?

  • @MyMomPwnsU i hope this will help u, push you hips up when your facing the sealing and to the back when your facing the floor to maintain momentum, that how it works for me dont keep your hips fixed

    i keep trying it so often but there is one thing... when i do the kick i cant keep my right leg (i am right handed) up like you do in the video... you are spinning a little higher than your butt ... but if i try this i keep falling on my right leg or sometimes on my butt... do you know what i mean? :S

  • I noticed that if you wanna learn to WM , you dont need to practice as much . At first you have to watch a tutorial for 20 - 30 times . Until you can imagine your self doing it like what do you do with your hand , legs when you do it , how you do it and etc . Then you get the idea and just practice ... I got them in 2 weeks , after watching this tut ALOT ... Thx !!! :D

  • Anybody know what I could do to be able to get my legs up higher? Maybe i'm just not strong enough, but I'm finding it nearly impossible to get my right leg (counter-clockwise, left arm turtle) up high for enough clearance.

  • @LockOnReisen Scratch that, I'm actually having trouble getting both legs high enough from the start. But from what I can tell, getting that one leg up real high is the next step I need to do in order to get a successful windmill.

    train on your baby freeze and turtle freeze and the wrist strength will come after a while!

  • Hi, I don't manage to connect windmills. I start practice windmill only for a month. I start from freeze position and end in a second freeze position without start a second mill. I think is because I don't manage to keep legs up. My legs fall without my control.

  • @gerrardfan27 hey man im not the guy from the vid but i can do mills. the backspin happens when your legs start to bend. after the collapse force your legs straight and wide, you should still be spinning but you should be able to twist back into glide. bringing your legs towards your chest increases your centre of gravity and you'll spin in a circle, but keepin them spread moves you in more of an oval

  • Alrite when practicing windmills yes your shoulders will hurt i have bruises there to prove it stretch before u do any practice for at least good 5 - 10 mins or longer depends on you dont be scared when practicing if you do you will get hurt more than usual and when you start you initial windmill and going on your back learn on the upper back not the middle or lower
