This isn't fake, he just sped up the video because as it says in the description, it took him 19 minutes to solve it. In fact, you can see him do the centers first. If someone were to reverse it, they would be mixing through the centers. It would be odd for someone to mix the 3x1 edge pieces first and then mix the centers, wouldn't it?

the would make it sausage-shaped. I have seen those. They're called boob-cubes because they are REALLY easy to solve. You can only turn some of the pieces along one axis because some of the faces aren't perfect squares.

Well, think about it. People who solve a 3x3x3 rubiks cube actually know what they are doing, and know the moves to get pieces where they need to go. Maybe it is no exactly the same process as with a 3x3x3 rubiks cube, but there has to be a similar way. once you know how to do it, it becomes a ton easier.
