as a Duke fan, i'm not that impressed with our squad this season, away from Cameron, we're mediocre, we're a borderline Top 10 team realistically. But UNC? 13-9? 2-5 ACC? What a pathetic showing thus far. "The vaunted frontline" of Ed Davis & Deon Thompson has been so overrated its not even funny. Larry Drew is a complimentary player. That's it. it's such a big shot because Duke was such an underdog in that game, UNC was stacked that year, Duke wasn't, and Duke didn't have Coach K. It ended up being one of the most exciting games in the history of the storied rivalry.

Stackhouse was the only returning started. Duke was highly ranked coming into that season with about 6 McDonald's All Americans, they just couldn't keep it together after coach k went down with illness. Duke underachieved all season
