yeah xD since you're a bassist, you know how to get that bass sound? an active pickup? some pedal? some bass amp? a mixture of all? xD
lol you need a pretty phat amp set, and i dont think you need an active pickups, since the one hinata is using right now uses passive. and maybe some pedals maybe involved. and the equalizer settings on ur amp helps too.
