So they're basically comparing the UFC global figures to boxings domestic market. Boxing gets seven times the PPV buys for international numbers. Why do they make no mention that Haye-Wlad did 1.3 million buys in the UK? Why don't they mention that a lot of the UFC's PPV buys come from Canada and Austrlia.

I've always thought comparing ppv buys of boxing and UFC to be a flawed. In boxing you only pay to watch two fighters, in MMA you pay to watch 12 fighters. UFC wouldn't earn 100k buys if they only had two fighters on their card.
Two boxers mean a lot more to people than 12 MMA fighters.

boxing gets showed on hbo showtime and about once every 2 months it goes on ppv.
still with the extra hype time that boxing gets for its events its average buys are pretty even imagine if ufc did one card every 2 months they could put gsp,silva and lesnar all on one card easily. and if they did that they could push for 2 million buys on one ppv
