@SuperDave341 Not true. Endurance Match 3 is always in Goro's Lair and plays the same track. You get the 'Finish Him' opportunity there, and that's when you get to hear it in normal gameplay.

@TiberiousNeruda This is only true for the Arcade Version of Mortal Kombat. The Super Nintendo version do not feature the goro boss music until you fight him (Endurance Match 3 music is the Palace Gates one, just like the normal goro lair music). You should check it out, because I just did to be sure I was right.

I actually got it to unfreeze (unhang?) by fast forwarding for a good while. After that, the sound completely went to hell, but it had no other problems. Even the subsequent Fatality played out without a hitch. But I had to turn down the sound; it was horrible. Heh.
