I will tell you, I had broken cymbals for 2 years (yes, I hit broken cymbals until they became a hazard) and my bass drum was turned the other side because the head was broken. Now, I played this shit, and when I finally got the money to get the REAL DEAL, man, I was awesome. Just keep practicing on whatever you have. In time, you will be rewarded.
