@mistatomsom I seem to recall quite a bit of carving in 1979. Not to mention bumps, powder and hotdogging. In all fairness, ABBA were pretty busy at the time so probably didn't have time to work on their form. And everything they did was awesome so I take it back. Awesome skiing guys.

@mistatomsom You're talking specifically about "parabolic" skis. True, we didn't have them in 1979 but we still talked about "carving" a turn at the time. Maybe ABBA couldn't get up enough momentum to really turn on that bunny hill in the video. And yes, I am one of the richest man alive.

If sweden's any thing like the alp's which im quite shur it will with it's snowie climate,You will probialy find agnetha been sking from when she could first walk!Or in agnetha's case?Before she could Dance!And because of that drummed in at ah early age!Its just the way of life in snowie country's,I would'nt imagine she would have any fear on the lift's and im in no way? Trying to be cheeky monkey here!But?Ski lift's dont go up 39000 ft:)Yeh would tend to agree it was about her kids wellfare!.
