its simple u give jack a happy ending his character is gone jack and happy ending dont exist they never have , revenge and justice and people dieing around him makes his character so watchable , its unfair i agree but id rather see jack kicking ass then settling down wilth a family , when we see jack happy u kno somethings going to go wrong it has to ,

One of the only reasons they killed renee is because Annie Wercshing(Renee) is pregnant
