Thanks for watching! You all have a nice looking robot. Good luck in the competition if you haven't already competed. I like your nice clean workshop. You can see our finished product on our website or here on youtube. It's called 2008 Riveteer Preview.
I represent team 620, and I must say, your robot looks good. It just looks like torque is going to be a big problem. We have a video as well, but we're keeping it under wraps until Tuesday. (It's uploaded under the user name "MadTv0808", our school's morning announcements' youtube account.)
We'll see you at the Richmond regionals! How do I know this? Google maps... and some guesswork. You're close enough to us.
See you there! (and seriously, check for the video on Tuesday/Wednesday)
HAHA. No worries. We know exactly what you are saying and thought that through. The Riveteer is designed with a low center of gravity (14" off the floor) to prevent tipping. We did this by giving the robot a minimal amount of clearance (3/4" to the floor). The robot also has two small anti-tip mechanisms on the underside of the frame to provide extra stability. Thanks for watching. You can now view the finished product on our website or here on youtube. It's called 2008 Riveteer Preview.
lol, that is alot of room, my team 973, we just started driver tryouts yesterday in our band room and we broke some stuff. oops, mostly my fault too, but my co driver and i managed to get 4 hurdles and a place in 2 minutes, starting with the ball on top, hope to see you at competition
Yes, except that's not our school. We build our robot at a farm and that is the loft of a barn. It's a blessing, but it's EXTREMELY COLD!!! Thanks for watching.
Great job in the finals this year guys! maybe next year we can team up again. keep in contact,

WOW!
All this all in 1 week?
I'm really impressed
All we had, team 931, was an idea for a chassis and an Inventor model of our chassis. That's it.
We JUST finished our full design just a few days ago. If you want to see it run just search "G7 921 2/16/08".

BTW, I mean torque as in where your center of gravity is, not motor torque.
Also, what I say does not reflect the opinion of team 620; I guess the word "represent" was the wrong word.
