  • Wow! What a great video.probably have met you while filming these cool trains. Thanks for sharing. I appreciate it.

  • This is what made AMERICA Right here...

  • Most beautiful whistle on any train - Thanks for the post! Brings me back to my childhood back in Strasburg PA!

  • AWESOME!!! Love it!!!

  • That is awesome!!

  • wow that first runby must have just sucked the fire off the grates

  • @northersteame

Why do you say that? The engine was working hard and the firemn had the stoker running a good clip. I know cause I was in the cab on that run. The fireman had the gaug at 243 lbs and half glass of water. She was free steaming at that point and doing what she was built to do!!!

  • @firefighter25dfd -- lol yes it was!

  • @northersteame this was not a runby, the train started out in pennsula and was climbing the grade out of the valley

  • What a wonderful video that matches how well this year was! Ill never forget the year 2010 because of 765 and the CVSR trips! :)

  • what kind of whistle am i hearing at 0:14

  • @Engineer5344 I dont know, this was the first time I heard it. sunday 26

  • @dferg100 its an old bessemer and lake erie whistle that some one in the fwrrhs had gotten ahold of

  • @dferg100 i believe that whistle is off of a late 19th century locomotive. probably a 10 wheeler. The fellow who owns the whistle told me his dad bought it from a man who bought it from ano0ther man who didnt know where it came from. Its origin is a mystery.

  • @Kleman09 I think your right, I heard the bessemer whistle last week, this one sounded different

  • @Engineer5344 -- 3 Chime 5" Crosby

  • @coolhandmatt saweeeet
