That would be funny, except...... Don't bands intentionally play consistant tempos, which I think is what metronome means, and the basis of your comment right? Then again, Genesis tempos live were all over the place show to show, hyper one show, laid back the next, must have been "the stuff" they were into back then.
@rodolfostanic I'm 14 and I'm in a similar situation to you I play keyboardist and I have a guitarist to play with but for now we have to settle for programmed drums and bass, ah well
I agree with aihoschema about the keyboard on the firth of fifth the keyboard sounded better on in the cage, it was brillantly played though. this is a minor fault, everythink else was very good
I always admire bands they can pull it off to play 1970s Genesis material. They can! Excellent. Just one little observation: please get decent keyboards (doesn't need to be vintage). Who knows the original Tony Banks equipment: Hammond T-102 (later Prophet 10) and the Arp ProSoloist (later Arp Quadra, then Prophet V)- finds poor digital emulations sounding like fingernails like screeching on a chalk board.
Agreed! This guy should also get himself an good phasor effect. Its key for any Genesis T102 organ part. Think Banks used the MXR 100. The new Prophet 08 would probably make a great lead synth for this type of stuff as well.
Excellent, i just found out about this band, and they are playing several shows in the philly area in the next few months, can't waite to see them live. p.s. Hardold, you must have a problem with your video stream, the keys and drummer are right in synch on my pc..
wow...please, can you playing in germany????????

Heads off to this band. Only problem I see they are too metronomical if you know what I mean (I wish I had that problem!)

Haha
It's a shame that I can't find people of my age (16 years old) that like Genesis, and want to play in a tribute band.
Until then, I am learning to play electric guitar, an we will play Green Day, Ramones, Nirvana...heuehuehuheuhe

i think the keys player is classic, you couldnt get a better tony banks, no charisma and bobbing head up and down in wrong time when soloing. legend

Really well done! I'd rather see you guys in 07 and hear a whole
set of amazing music then see the real band for a 10 minute melody.

Not bad. A few of the great songs by a truly remarkable band. Too bad that things dont look good for that whole 'reunion' thing.
