exactly...he was born in scotland but he chose ireland because didnt want to know...ireland had him palyingin their youth teams and valued him early on...but scotland? na they thought it was ok just to come in when the boy had already made a name for himself...bottom line is scotland showed no faith in him until it was too obvious

its about stamping out bigotry...bottom line is celtic and rangers are trying to do this and as long as there are people like you then it will be sung for the audience...seen a guy the other week at first home game vs st johnstone have his team card removed and chucked out and banned because he shouted "up the ra!" we are tackling the bigots, why dont use?

First, it's not racist, we're both the same race, it's religious sectarianism.
Doesn't mean I agree with it.
There are morons on both sides, roughly equal amounts too, and I wish we could get the knuckle draggers out of both supports.
My one issue is lets say both Rangers and Celtic are playing, Celtic fans sing pro IRA songs at that game, Rangers fans sing anti catholic songs, the most likely to be reported in the news the following day would be Rangers.
We get more negative media.

nonsense....what about when they were trying to get bad press for people singing songs outside the falkirk stadium during a minutes silence? done their best to blacken celtic...truth is, it wasnt an ira song it was a song about aiden mc anespie who was innocently murdered...why should the irish who have been battered and raped by the british army adhere to this minutes silence?

You want to know why? Because Celtic are a British club, most of Celtic's fans are British, and enjoy the protection from the British army who give their lives so they can be safe.
Whether you agree or disagree with a war or whatever, you have to respect someone who puts their life on the line so you can be safe, if you don't respect them, you are the lowest form of scum.
Also, the term "innocently murdered" confuses me, isn't that a contradiction in terms?

Because its called respect.When both sides adhere to this simple philosophy instead of whinging and finger pointing,and when they teach their children who are innocent of all the bigotry,that all people are human and equal and worthy of love and not to hate,there is a chance for the human race.Celtic/Rangers hatred is the best case in human stupidity I have ever seen.
