Woah! More scenes with the kids from the first seasons? I guess scenes these aren't dubbed in English anywhere/in an extended cut of the movie?

Yeah there are quite a few scenes, and no they were not dubbed in English or available as special features/extended cuts. Although I heard that there was a dub of the first and second movie without the Willis sub-plot, but that was never released.

I admit, that is true widescreen and is probably the original version of the cropped DVD's available in the US and only the dub has changed. But it is kinda strange that a non-english dub got the widescreen version, I wanna order one now :D

Haha same here! But nah, this hasn't already happened but there are some good signs. For example in Australia, Madman (anime distributor) is officially releasing all of Digimon Digital Monsters Season 1 on DVD! This is the first time it's been on an officially licenesed DVD and hopefully the other seasons will follow suite and eventually the film!

@toujourscharming I remember 4 seasons are in DVD already, I do hope they finally release the other movies that are seen on TV too. Never knew there were more movies. :D

I do remember the movie being an hour and 20 minutes (80 minutes) long and the original Japanese version to the 3rd movie is an hour long so in a way they might have cut like 30 minutes of the 3rd part. I personally think they should have kept the 30 minutes they lost and made it better x.x

I'm pretty sure no full, official seasons of Digimon hae been on DVD besides for Data Squad.

I like the films that aired on TV cause they were just direct dubs with no cuts, I too hope that they will be released.

Yeah, having uncut Digimon films on DVD from the very first one would be amazing!

Nah yeah, I've been remastering the film for the whole year, I'm just slow cause of studies.

I'll be posting the 2nd part (Our War Game) remastered on Youtube in a day or so cause it is finished. I have no idea when I'll finish then rest of it though.

Wow, a HD version of the movie? I can't wait for you to finish it. This one made me cry as a kid and it still does until today. Haha~~I didn't know there were deleted scene~hope you can attach them back and make it better than the original~~

Haha it's a very emotional film :P

As for the HD, I doubt I will export it in HD as the colours seem to wash out so I might render only in 480p. With the extra scene's, I wish I could add them but it kind of mucks up the english plot plus unsync's the audio haha.

ohh holy hell ... ive never seen those cut scenes but i have heard about the first ... cherubimon sent the older digidestined kids to another dimension during his rampage .... thats what that scene was about. i dont know why they would cut it but it looked amazing =] as always ... awesome video. brings back so many memories lol i loved digimon

Yeah, I thought it would've been really good to have kept that scene in - I mean it would've added an extra 15 minutes top lol.

It is actually VERY hard lol. Saban actually cut A LOT of scenes and some things are sped up or slowed down. The final part of the movie is severely edited, like bits from the very end are spliced with bits near the middle for some reason :S

I'm trying hard to get the scene changes to match frame to frame but it takes a while.

I'll see how I go for now, if I need some help I'll let you know - thanks for offering :)
