Again, as with "The Girl From Ipanema", Verve/MGM decided an edited version of this song (minus most of Joao's Portugese vocal and Stan's solo) would have a better chance of becoming a 45 "hit single". However, it never reached the hit status "Ipanema" became, and the single version is mostly forgotten today.
