Quick question.. I try to copy my borderlands save onto a 4GB usb stick from my XBOX360, but it doesn't show up on my computer.. I have willowtree+Modio downloaded so once I can find it I'll be good to go, but my computer doesn't register that there's a game save in there. Do I need to download my entire Borderlands game file from XBOX? Or move it rather than copy it or what, this is the only bump that I'm hitting =/

@Krayor you need to download the Xtaf program that will recognize the save file on ur flash drive. if u just plug the drive in to the computer it will show nothing in there but when you open it with the program it shows.

you can then copy the save onto ur desktop to mod

( just make sure to backup your original unmodded save in a folder)

@IGetChaseByDemons the game recognizes that the gun is not possible to be found in game or has parts that wont belong to it..

to make a weapon code and get the code for it use the gearcalc its in the description. it see's if the gun is a legitimate gun with right parts or illigitimate

yes,I have modded a save that I've already met TK BAHA and it doesn't work,when I go to single player or system link,I select my carachter level 50(that I've Mod) but when I choose him it just say new character and restart my game. Could you tell me what is wrong?

did you mod a new character you had made? if so try playing it till you meat t.k baha then try to mod it then.

if it isnt a new character send me the modded game save on mediafire. and pm me the link.

also if its not a new character i hope you backed up your save. do try modding it again.

i think its either a new character or you must have did something when modding which messed up the save.

@Speedster77 hopefully you have a backup of your original save. so you can delete the modded save and try again. you must have did something wrong when modding for it to freeze.

i never modded to lvl 70 before.

i only modded to lvl 50 then just killed those tall things in the area before you reach knoxx base. if your on PT2 there lvl 61 just kill them with the monster. and you will lvl up fast.

ok ive always failed doing this okay ive used usb explorer and clicked random crap till i found save 0001 er watever and extracted then i used willow tree on it then save dit went modio and rehashed save.001 sav and sav.001 bak and moved both of them to the usb drive and when insert it to my xbox and click games and it still shows myy old file unmodded (hunter 24)

i never used modio but try concept

also no need to put the .bak file with the save0001.

just when you are going to mod a save i suggest you make a foler named (original saves) and always right click on copy then paste it into the folder.

then mod away but save the newer save001 which would be the modded one on your desktop not your original save folder or else it would overwrite it.

then in concept hit rehash/resign then close it and put it back onto your usb.

@magicllama711 if weapons you made dont show up that means the patch 1.30 did its job and made sure no super powered guns get in the game. as it deletes non legitimate guns while loading.

as for the lvl 70 thing i never tried modding to lvl 70. but i lnow it wont let me mod up to 60. so i just play from 50 to 60 which doesnt take long

is the save you are trying to mod a new character? if so play it a lil bit then try to load it into willowtree. if it isnt there might have been a problem with the save being transfered to the usb or a prob with it extracting from usb explorer.

This is a good mod for the cash, shield boosts, skills boosts etc. However do not use the weapon mods. The original items just disappear out of your back pack. and you can no longer buy weapons from stores. Well you can buy them but they dont show up in your backpack.

Ok so I did every thing you told me to do in the video. My modded skill points and backpack capacity mods worked but I made a new gun and I saved changes to it in Willow Tree, but when I go to look at it in the real game, its not there. Patch1.30 made it so no super powered guns show up. there is a site with confirmed worked gun codes for patch 1.30 and the gear calculator lets you make a gun and check to see if the game would read it as legit or not.

@FurySaterra64 the game as of patch 1.30 detects no legitimate guns and removes them upon loading the game.

best bet is to use the gearcalc (link in underbar) and use that to make your weps as it checks to see if the gun would be found legitimate or not by the game

@booster97 yes the only downfall to this is that configuring the usb flash stick will erase anything you had on there, so make sure you use atleast a 1gb stick that u dont mind not having stuff on it but game saves.

I have the same problem as evan with the new version of willowtree, but I downloaded an older version of willowtree and it opened up in it fine. The only problem is that after i save everything and got to rehash it doesnt change anything. For example my character lv is 27, changed it to 30, saved it and reopened it to make sure it saved and it did. Open it in the rehash program and it still says lv 27.
