My favorite one is at number 40 when Heather Whitestone was crowned Miss America 1995. She is profoundly deaf and the other contestant pointed at her and said its you. I recall watching that pageant on the date it aired and I was in tears then.

When the Semi-Finalist were named during the Miss Venezuela 1986, there was a big confusion because Miss Táchira, the daughter-in-law of the lover of the Venezuelan president (Lusinchi) and one of the judges, was named as a Semi-Finalist when it was the time to be announced in random order but originally she had not to be one of them

It's so nice to see the two Oxanas at the Miss Russia 2001 pageant. The winner couldn't attend Miss Universe 2001 so the runner-up went and came a top 10 finalist. Oxana Federova went to compete at Miss Universe 2002 and WON!

That clip is actually from the Mother Daughter International Pageant in 1989. The daughter also competed as Miss Italy in Miss Universe 1990

@missuniworld If you watch until the VERY last part; you can see the new sashes being put on them and that they indicate they won some sort of Mother-Daughter International pageant or something.

Finally when the anchorman announced the final order for the winner (Barbara Palacios, Miss Sudamerica and Miss Universe 1986) and the Runner-Ups, Miss Táchira do not have place and the real Runner-Up was named ... for this reason is the faces of everybody in the background because at the beginning nobody understand was happened over there

I have the actual pageant; would you like a copy. I love Crystle and have watched her each year seek the Miss Texas USA crown. It took her 5 tries and she was first runner up the last 2 years before winning this year. She is a sure shot for Miss USA.
