  • This was on not too long ago but I was at work an couldn't stop to watch it..Damn

  • my favorite part of the movie is when he goes into a laundry mat talks to this chick gets scared and runs off funny shit but the ending could have used some fine adjustment.

  • It takes a Fonda to address the real issues of our times. The rest are, for the most part, just movies. they all have their place in entertainment, of course.

  • I watched this movie when I was trippin'.

One of the best experiences of my life.

  • i love the trailer..it's sooo psychadelic!

    yeah baby!..lol

  • you must see on dvd the great documentary "mondo mod" and " mondo hollymood" by robert cohen about the glory psychedellicscene 60's in los angeles(with frank zappa, gto's, hell's angels....) c 'est complétement dément!!!!!!!!! et super cheap!!!!

  • i'd love to see it,thanx!

  • I can imagine myself (if i was a young man back then) that i would of enjoyed this movie and all the hype surrounding LSD, besides the psychological damage which might of emerged years later i wouldn't of known any better... a drug developed by ex-Nazi scientists (operation paperclip) unleashed onto the counter-culture movement (deliberately) around the mid to late 60's and glamorized via films like this, the drug took off, so did deaths, suicide and the odd enlightened moment :)

  • Please tell me that you're not being serious....

  • Ever seen the film of LSD being tested on people in the armed forces, in the late 50's? - ever wondered why? - you must know your history, the uprising of a counter culture movements as the old elites were losing their grip, mid 60's... well, guess what all the colleges and campuses were full of when they returned home from summer breaks or whatever in the mid 60's? acid, various types, revered by 'guru' types, psychedelic evangelism for the feeble minded... it's true :) go research it

  • No, it's not true at all. LSD-25 was first synthesized by Albert Hofmann who was a Swiss chemist, not an ex-Nazi scientist. In the 50's, the CIA conducted tests with LSD to see if it would be useful as a truth-telling serum. However, it failed to meet that purpose, so all government use of the substance was discontinued. Prior to the countercultue movement, LSD was available as a legal experimental psychiatric drug.

  • Around the mid 60's, LSD was introduced to the hippie movement by individuals such as the former Harvard Professor, Dr. Timothy Leary. Leary had no government connections, and in fact was listed as "the most dangerous man in America" according to the government. In fact, the government tried to stamp out LSD just as much as it did the counterculture movement. LSD helped strengthen, and define the movement. The counterculture movement came to an end due to the Vietnam War coming to a close.

  • And furthermore, there are no reported overdoses of LSD because it has a very low toxicity. Also, psychological damage only occured in individuals who had pre-existing mental conditions (such as schizophrenia) before trying the drug. You clearly know nothing of the topic at hand, so please take your bullshit conspiracy theories elsewhere.

  • whatever mate... ever heard of something called Alcohol? drink your drugs, stay docile and apathetic, the young & dumb take strike one for logic and reason, cheers

  • "The Trip" aired on TCM's Underground

I recorded this "acid flick" on to my TiVo!

  • really cool man!

  • i really dig this groovy show man!

  • Anyone know the name of this music???

  • Anyone know where I can buy this for a region 1 player. I can't find it anyone where and really wanna see it being a huge fan of easy rider.

  • My favourite movie ever...but very hard to watch now

  • I'm still yet to see this movie, but I love the soundtrack by the Electric Flag, featuring one of the first recordings of the Moog Synthesizer on a mainstream rock recording. I want to get this movie on Blu Ray for my PS3, I think movies like this should be preserved forever.
