i love the song, actually i love every single song on the album, and i can't say i prefer one above the others. i find myself in every song's lyrics, and the music is so great. i find it amazing the way ville talks about the meaning of the song, and maannn keep writing such amazing songs!!

I love hearing Valo talk about the lyrics. I've always connected to H.I.M. through their lyrics. The music itself is great, but each album is a different style. Valo's lyrics are what makes it so intriguing. They're like epic poems in song form.

- Now obviously that is very self explanitory, Their relationship's drama is put on display - meaning perhaps one of them let's everyone around them know what is going on with this relationship (Arguement wise).

Along with a dove, Stuffed, in a coffin

- Now as well known, The dove is represented through all of those things, and also including peace. (MORE)

Now when he says "In a coffin made of glass entitled 'Love, Lust, and the Holy Ghost'" - I assume he means like a taxidermy Dove. In a glass case, with the label in front of it - Put on display much like the relationship's "drama". Pretty much stating that it's for everyone to see. I also assume when it says a dove STUFFED, in a coffin made of glass, it means that the dove which represents love, lust, and religion, is now dead - showing that their relationship is dead / dying.

Hello! I know this was from a week ago and someone already answered but I just wanted to try to explain more into the first line. If you know the story behind "the couple from Pompeii" then this might make more sense. If you don't I'll just explain now hahaha. When a volcano eruption occurred in Pompeii, a couple died locked in each others embrace. I hope that helps to figure out what could be meant! From my point of view, he's saying everyone knows the relationship and story. :)

If it weren't for the "our drama's put on display..." part I would say he's referring to their love, how close they are, and the whole death thing. I really hope that helps. Ville is an amazing lyricist and has many metaphors/analogies so really there could be many meanings and only he knows the correct one.

You're welcome! For the last part, "coffin of glass" I can only really make out that the dove is really important. Usually, whatever is in a glass coffin is really important and is there for all to remember. Also, we can't forget the line "Those were the days" which can really be a clue to what the song is about. What I'm thinking is how he misses the way a relationship used to be yet still can't escape no matter how hard he tries because he's still so in love.
