I don't have anything against an original 205, I just don't get why anyone would spend a big amount of money on a car that costs less than the parts you put into it . You can get an old 205 for 500 euros .

Because it is fun to beat alot of cars which cost alot more. You don't expect this kind of power from a Peugeot 205. That's the fun. But you obviously never driven a cheap car with huge power so I understand your reaction.
@Slowlol Well Ive only had 1 car, as I only started driving last year which has 135hp Mazda DITD. Not bad for a first car though! I'm not scared of going 30mph+ but what i'm saying is in those deathtraps you crash at a poxy 30mph and you die, whereas in a decent car you live going at 60-70mph. Also you look like a bit of a twat racing around a little old Peugeot. Of course i understand the power appeal to it. I'm not denying its fast, its just not much of a car.
Looks like you need to learn how to control lift off oversteer as that's the killer for the twats who crash them. It's not much of a car and that's the appeal. It's a shoebox with as much power as ya like (Mi16 Turbo and you can touch 400Bhp with only 900kg of car...) which makes mince meat of most high powered cars. BTW I can attest to their durability. Rolled one, had an accountant pull out in front of me too. Neither time did I die...
Might add I was avoiding a Vauxhall Nova (Opel Corsa) which was lowered and had 5 peeps plus loud music in the middle of an English backroad when I rolled it ;)

ive got a 205 turbo too. just upgrading from a t2 turbo to a t4. but i was still making 178bhp and 180ft/lb at the wheels. that was with turbo technics pistons, rods, exhaust manifold, standard cam and megasquirt 2 ecu. oh ond a ported and big valve head and at 1 bar of boost

hey how much boosting are you handling? 15/20 psi? would mind sharing your spark table map? I have a friend here in argentina who has managed to get a 16v cilinder head and wants boost up to 1 bar
the turbo spooled up and gave ot a good kick, he could have improved on that by making the turbo flaps stay at sharp angle and fit a bigger dump valve
Lijkt me leuk om een keertje af te spreken om op jullie vermogensbank te gaan staan. Dan zal het wantrouwen omslaan in bewondering. De bank van Verhoeven en DP-Engineering zijn de meest "negatieve" banken in het land.
Neem ik gelijk mijn 106je 1.6 16V met 322 PK en 381 NM mee, of wantrouw je dat ook? :-)
Het vermogen wat de laatste keer is gemeten was 405 pk aan de wielen, dit is GEMETEN met een Dynapack 4000 chassis dynamometer. Met het omrekenen naar krukasvermogen valt nog te sjoemelen, met het gemeten wielvermogen niet.
De auto heeft die dag ongeveer 5-6 uur non stop op de bank staan draaien, nu weet ik niet wat voor competitie jullie rijden, maar gewoon voor een circuit is heet geen enkel probleem, de motorkoeling is in orde, de inlaattemp. is goed en de EGT +AFR is ook niks mis mee.
Je mag wantrouwen wat je wilt, de 1e keer is het vermogen gemeten op de 4wd bank bij Verhoeven, niet de meest optimistische bank, toen kwam er 394 pk uit (filmpje staat ook op Youtube) daarna is de boel goed afgesteld en kwam het op 466pk uit op de bank bij DP-Engineering (wederom filmpje op Youtube).
Hij doet het dus best wel leuk, alleen zit er nu een ander bak onder omdat de standaard bak het begeven had na 500km op 466 pk...

Als er iemand wantrouwen toont, wat je eigen woorden zijn, dan laten wij gewoon zien dat het wel degelijk kan, niks meer en niks minder.
Aangezien wij het dus wel degelijk hebben aangetoond, snap ik dus totaal niet waarom jij het in twijfel trekt.
De 205 Levert 400+ WHP en mijn 106 levert 278 aan de wielen, niks geen calculi over aandrijfcorrecties dan.
Maar goed, vertel, waarom vertonen jullie wantrouwen?

Ken de opbouw van de wagen, en ken ook de bank bij dp, en weet dus dat de waardes correct zijn.

Ik ga geen vermogens roepen die ik niet kan waarmaken. Dus geen "statements" of "gestelde" vermogens.
Alles is gemeten en niet geschat of gegokt.

Probeer maar eens een bocht te pakken met 400pk op de voorwielen,
zonder een geweldig sper differentieel ga je alleen maar tijd en snelheid verliezen
mijn gti met 150pk heeft al genoeg moeite om bij het uitkomen van de bocht te accelereren

Maar het is een S16 2 Liter blok. Niet 1.6 dus. Maar heeft dacht 466PK aan de krukas maar bij DP meten ze wiel pk's en die zijn 405pkaatjes dus :-)

Blok is van Peugeot. Zoek even op '405 WHP' dan is het het bovenste filmpie. Hij heeft 515Nm.
