ive got an idea if u had a band of some sort attached to either ur ring finger or middle finger which attached to a spring at the bottom u could pull u finger forward to release the spring pushing out the blade and have self-locking mechanism again using a spring and maybe a leather strap for aesthetics and that would also pull back when u pull ur finger forward alowing the blade to be pushed through and to put the blade back put ur finger back and the blade would fall back to place and it lock
