Thank you for the Tutorial with written instructions. Will join your channel since I don't discount giving this a try some time in the future.. Looking forward for more. Thank you.
This is very clear and concise. I've been paper piecing for awhile (took a class about 6 months ago) and I noticed things were turning out as neat and orderly as when I first started...your tute is a great reference and it's exactly the method I learned in class. Thanks!
THANK YOU!!! I have been trying to get someone to verbally explain this to me. Now that I have seen it i get it thank you so much for posting the video!
I downloaded this video using real player and watched it in slow motion on my pc. I can keep her videos forever this way! YAY!! Plus...it's easier to follow in slow mo:) rated it a 5 loved it!
I guess we all learn differently. I'm still getting the hang of paper piecing. I've *read* instructions many times, but it was tremendously helpful to *see* the paper piecing being done by someone who knows how. It moved pretty fast, I thought, so I went back over it a few times and it might be confusing therefore to an absolute beginner. Loved the music. I always have beautiful music on while I'm quilting.
Thank you for creating and posting this. It's helped clear up a lot of my confusion about the whys and wherefores of paper piecing! Previously, I was overwhelmed, but now I can't wait to give it a try.
Could you provide a link for the text version? I can't seem to find it on sewhooked
Excellent tutorial BTW

@LadyAgape I can't post it on comments (YouTube doesn't allow that), but I will send you the link via PM. :)

video is too fast to read, does not give enough time to read.

@bretzky78 I've found that the pause button solved that problem. Hope that helps.

This video seems so much more epic because of the music.

It wasn't the original music for this video, but I really like the classical, I think it makes it flow really nicely. :)

I'm always happy to hear that one of my tutorials helped get someone going. How is paper piecing for you now?
ofenjen 2 years ago
It took me a few views (never have quilted before really) and I think I finally 'get it'. Thanks so much!

Thank you for the positive response. It's absolutely my pleasure! There's a text version, too, if you need a little non-moving backup.

photos don't cut it and you can't see well because of the commentaries.

It would have been a lot better to have commentary instead of music. Duh.
