I think xmen movies, other than wolverine and villains, didn't portray the other main characters that well. Like common, Storm getting butchered by callisto at Jean's house. That aint happening in comic, she is a omega level mutant. She had the ability to control the air in the lungs of others, and the water in the ears. I felt she didn't do her and Iceman justice.
To make wolverine and the villains stronger, they weakened all the other mutants.

Storm controls the forces of nature, not simply weather manipulation. She can control the weather because she controls the forces that control the weather. She does MUCH more than controlling the weather. And she's gorgeous! A tremendous fighter, skilled as a marksmen, thief (like Gambit) and wielding knives. Not to mention her magical powers. She's smart and speaks 4 languages. Her character is incredible in every way.
I thought she was coming out her hands as well, but upon closer inspection, it was really summoned and is coming from over her shoulder. But regardless it's still awesome!

Yeah but this argument about Storm and the Phoenix is probably going to go never. Haha. You guys all might say that the Phoenix is the strongest becuase of her powers and being life and death and yadayadayada, but if you having Jean Grey given the Pheonix force, you have to also give storm Eternity. Storm is one of the only mutants (NOT including Jean) who can summon and not die with Eternity force. and with that force, Storm IS the winner. :)

I think there is some mistakes in Halle Berry s casting. Storm has a strong personality . She is a leader. But in the second movie , especially at the tornedo scene we can see her, panicking ,No worse she had a panic -striken face when the missiles were about to reach the jet. She expected Jean Grey to do something . She was counting on her . The Storm I know would tempt a last maneuver to get the jet out of this mess. She would keep her calm not yield to panic for sure.

I have alwysb thought that Vivica Fox would be better in the role of Storm. Think back to the comic books, she was tall, sexy, and a very powerful character. Vivica Fox meets the tall and sexy parts, and get her into a weight room to tighten her up a bit (cuz she is almost there , it would just be to muscle her up a bit), and she would have played this role perfectly, much better than Halle Berry. But, that's just me.

Storm is Omega. That means, basically, a very powerful, ultimate mutant. Orora Munroe is one of the most loved X-Men of all time, and one of the most powerful. I think Halle Berry portayed her perfectly in X-1 and X-2, but not X-3. X-3 was a disaster, it ruined Phoenix.

Storm controls the forces of nature, not simply weather manipulation. She can control the weather because she controls the forces that control the weather. She does MUCH more than controlling the weather. And she's gorgeous! A tremendous fighter, skilled as a marksmen, thief (like Gambit) and wielding knives. Not to mention her magical powers. She's smart and speaks 4 languages. Her character is incredible in every way.

I love both Storm and Jean Grey. Their power is the most perfect ones.
I would love to manipulate the weather and at the same time, have telekinesis.
For me, Storm is much stronger than Magneto. His power is limited to metals.. but Storm can control the weather.
My favorite display of her power was the Jet scene in X2.. the tornadoes eventhough it seems that it never touches the ground, but that was freakin' awesome.. she's a goddess.. the very first african super hero..

said yes storm is vary power(in a weather sense) but jean grey is not as weak

Yeah but this argument about Storm and the Phoenix is probably going to go never. Haha. You guys all might say that the Phoenix is the strongest becuase of her powers and being life and death and yadayadayada, but if you having Jean Grey given the Pheonix force, you have to also give storm Eternity. Storm is one of the only mutants (NOT including Jean) who can summon and not die with Eternity force. and with that force, Storm IS the winner. :)

I think there is some mistakes in Halle Berry s casting. Storm has a strong personality . She is a leader. But in the second movie , especially at the tornedo scene we can see her, panicking ,No worse she had a panic -striken face when the missiles were about to reach the jet. She expected Jean Grey to do something . She was counting on her . The Storm I know would tempt a last maneuver to get the jet out of this mess. She would keep her calm not yield to panic for sure.

In most of the series and movies, they do not portray Storm as strong as she needs to be, i mean, if one reads up on Storm, she can do some amazing stuff, and give Phoenix a decent fight, but no, they portray her as weaker than she should be, not fair to blame Halle though, after all...she is just a paid actress.

What I realise though is that, Storm develops throughout the movies, from being just a weapon of great power to a more central character. By the end of movie 3, she is in charge, I guess that was the plan, to have her develop. She becomes more in control of her powers, and what she says matters. Unfortunately, she is sidelines in the other two movies.

Halle was playing the part and saying the lines she was given to her by the writers/directors so in a sense, its not really Halle's fault as to why storm was not a leader. But we affectionate Storm cuz contrary to Jean Grey who has 2 personalities and some difficulties to control her power, Storm is in full possession of her potentials ,of some powers that in term of beauty, variety ( thunder, wind, water, cold ) are more interesting. Storm can beat her enemy in various ways. We can t get bored with her . That s why we love her.

I have alwysb thought that Vivica Fox would be better in the role of Storm. Think back to the comic books, she was tall, sexy, and a very powerful character. Vivica Fox meets the tall and sexy parts, and get her into a weight room to tighten her up a bit (cuz she is almost there , it would just be to muscle her up a bit), and she would have played this role perfectly, much better than Halle Berry. But, that's just me.

Storm is Omega. That means, basically, a very powerful, ultimate mutant. Orora Munroe is one of the most loved X-Men of all time, and one of the most powerful. I think Halle Berry portayed her perfectly in X-1 and X-2, but not X-3. X-3 was a disaster, it ruined Phoenix.
