  • hmmm GREAT? I think not, unless you prefer heavy neck pick-up nasal-y tones with absolutely NO bridge sound and articulation.

    Stick with Fishman Taylor!

  • How can you have the f'ing guitar, talk about it for 1 min, sit in a studio, and NOT PLAY IT FOR US!!!!!!!????

  • why does he have a guitar in his hands? lol

  • For Gods sake play the thing so we can hear it !

  • Hey Corey,

You are the man! The Road Show was awesome at Skip's Music in Sacramento. Can't wait to tour the factory AND THAT RIGHT SOON!

    Peace!

  • how about buying the fishman aura spectrum

  • wow sounds good :(

  • Here is my take on acoustic guitar pickup systems: They work for live use, but if you're concerned about your tone recording, buy a good condenser mic and avoid plugging the guitar in.

  • I love my Taylors!

  • How do you install a guitar strap on taylor guitars with ES??

  • YOU HAVE A GUITAR IN YOUR HAND NOW PLAY IT, you could talk and play at the same time you know (:

  • I still do not find any sound-demos of those pickup-systems :-/

  • @instrumentenfreak Go to a Taylor Road Show and tell me what you think? Seriously.

  • Well i'm guessing there's something seriously wrong with my Taylor 424CE LTD kao 2007 because it sounds much more balanced when played unplugged rather than over the Expression system thru an amp.

It doesnt sound bad, but i really notice a gigantic tonal difference between unplugged and amplified. Exacly the thing where the ES is famous for eliminating this very problem...

    Damn it...

  • @Powerslider give us a call @ 1-800-943-6782 and we can help trouble shoot your tone problem.

  • @Powerslider

Have you tried using it on a different amp?

  • @Joshmv14

Yes, on 3 different amps. The sound is very dark like playing on the neck pickup on an electric guitar.but when played unplugged, the sound is much more balanced with a far less pushed mid section.

Someday ill make 2 recordings so i can let people hear the difference. But i need to buy a good mic first

  • @Powerslider

    Oh k k...

Are you getting your ES checked out?

  • @Joshmv14

Actually im enjoying the unplugged sound so much, im too lazy to get it repaired or checked haha. Definetly a sweet sounding guitar!

  • @Powerslider

haha.. You sound a lot like me :P

I'm so jealous :( I live in Sri Lanka and am 16..

Getting one is gonna be very hard and it's so esxpensive :(

  • @Joshmv14

Lol :) Well its good that you know what you want. If you really want something, i'm sure you will get it! BTW, the Talor 200 series is also really nice, i played one in a shop and was very impressed :) Greets from the Netherlands

  • @Powerslider

Thanks =D Was checking out the 214ce which is quite similar and for 1/3 the price of the 816ce.. :)

  • @Powerslider , All guitars sound different when plugged in.

  • @Powerslider the fishman aura spectrum di will make you very very happy. No pickup can pickup the acoustics of the guitar... only the strings but the aura spectrum will make it

  • pls. play the guitar.
