"This Sony camera is a nice addition to the Sony Line-up, somewhat of a replacement for the HVR-V1u, only shooting tapeless to MemoryStick and SD cards instead of tape. sounds like the wireless and onboard mic are both on. Im only guessing that cause this is what it sounds like when my tv and surround sound are on at the same time.
Yes, I noticed the double mic pickup as well. That can be a good thing if you have the option to leave that on or just have sound only from the bluetooth mic. What disappointed me was I was initially told by the sales rep that it works on Macs. As I found out right after this review, it doesn't! So I'm recommending for Mac users, the Canon Vixia models instead
camera focus looks good unlike the reviews I read on other websites but I could notice the sound coming twice whenever the person was near the camera ... I am guessing it must be because of the double mic being used(bluetooth + built in) ... good review, but would love to see howz the still photography

Why the echo on the sound? Is that indicative of this particular Sony model? Or is it your blacktooth mic?
