@lighth4zard its not to bad. mechanically its not all that complex, and the radar/tracking systems are rather standard to those in the know. The ciws {seawhiz} does have its own dedicated shop/department at the shipyard however. No one man does it all {thank god} But it is one of the slacker positions to be held...Its just mainly cleaning and reassembling. It really is a straight forward bad ass system!

I used to work on the when I was in the Navy, they are putting these near bases vulnerable to "pop-shot" mortar attacks. Maintenance on these things are crazy because youre dealing with hydraulics, electrics, air, gun stuff, and tuning the crystal oscillators are a major pain. We used to call the units "R2-D2's"
