Russia has large terrirtory but the poopulation is decreasing I hope nowadays Russia is turning into America of XXI years, the land of opportunity... The native population is kind of lame in termans of infrastructure, external labor could improve it.
If you really want to get back to a more simple stress free life and closer to nature, then I would recommend anyone to go to any of these Russian rural villages, especially if it lies near the river. Food will be fresh and organic, water will be straight from the mountains, life will be slower and you'll experience nature as you never imagined it could be. Lot of manual work on the land however. Bonus is, the villagers are like the salt of the earth and will do anything to help you.

@Nitrorus the point i am trying to make is that the native americans may have had tribal beliefs, rivalries with other tribes, and a few other different things that we might call "uncivilized", but they were HAPPY with their life. not just some of them, but ALL of them. the men, the women, and the children loved the way they lived, because they knew that it was a great life to live. it seems that we have lost that feeling, and i think that most people today do not know why.

@rebelnomo no, we didn't give them cancer,rabbis, or maleria. rabbis is only treatable within a certain amount of time, and once the disease takes root, it is incurable. cancer is only curable through radiation, which shortens your lifespan as well. malaria is rarely a problem in america, as it is a tropical disease. however, we brought smallpox, even giving the native americans blankets covered in it, as well as a few others. they had never encountered those diseases before.

They believed they were right to do what they did (as did the Germans, Romans, Ottoman Arabs) and we should use history to learn from what they did and why we believe it is wrong today to try to avoid it during our lives.
The definition of right or wrong changes in time. Things that we view as right today, will be seen as wrong 100 years from now.

Yet the Natives were in North America before the last Ice Age, while the Eskimos came about 5000 years ago; after the Ice age. Eskimos have genetically adapted to the cold (from before their migration to North America) not the Natives. Eskimos, have fatty tissu above their eyelids to protect from the cold, and a general better blood circulation.

The Black young people that you may find in Russia are descentents of students that came from Africa during the old USSR. But for the most part, the Blacks are temporary students or visitors.
