Let's say there is this guy who believes in a religion (Christianity). He lives his life following the teachings of Christianity and does all he can to tell other people about what he believes. Then he dies and it turns out that God doesn't really exist. There is no heaven and no hell. He ceases to exist. What difference does it make what he believed or did when he was living?

Let's say there is this guy who believes in a religion (Christianity). He lives his life following the teachings of Christianity and does all he can to tell other people about what he believes. God created in Genesis 1-2 and it says that everything was good, Man wanted to be like God and took of the fruit forbidden of them. By doing so they left what was good and entered into evil. You see the progression of sin as God(God is good) is not in the mist of them, when cane kills able (gen 4). Then later on gen 6:5 man was completely evil, w/o God

The ad is saying that Christians need to stop harboring prejudice, not that Christians are victims of prejudice. The little girl hears "white and white and white" and feels excluded, and this ad is saying that Christians should try to fight that. I would say it's a respectable message. The verse in the Greek text (and please spare me ignorant comments on how I know it was in Greek, look up an encyclopaidia) actually reads: "Do not think that I have come to destroy the law and the prophets: I have come to do what they said I would do. I say in Truth to you that nothing will change untill all things said about me have happened". While dying on the Cross Jesus said "It ended" referring to this, how do I know? The curtain of the temple was cut in halph, the old law ended.

"Heaven and earth" refers to the old world, the world before the Messiah. Jews had separated the world into that before and after (see. John L. Bray, Matthew 24 Fulfilled). Also the verse from 2 Cor.5:17 answers your question. For a Christian everything has become new.

"the new heaven and new earth" is the Church period. This is why there was a resurrection of some when Christ died, "And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many" (Mt.27:52-53).

Not so, themistoklisp. The NEW HEAVEN and NEW EARTH are refering to the time when chrst recreates a perfect world. not the church age as it is now.

Exodus 11:7 says what Jews thought. Both prophets, Isaiah and Amos, say that God is the God of ALL people not just Israel.
1 Corinthians 11:8-9, taken out of NT context since in other parts Paul makes clear that men and women are equal.
I am amazed how people take Scripture out of it's own context, out of Historical contect, out of symbolic context -- just to make it look bad. Pathetic indeed.

Nope, it was Moses speaking for God to his people. Exodus 11:4 makes this clear. It is YOU who have a problem with context.

My message got lost... Anyway... AiG instead of trying to prove that the OT is literal (which is heresy) should act out what Jesus taught and help the poor, visit the sick, etc.
"For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ" (John 1:17). I am a Christian not a Jew, I am under Truth and Grace not the law of Moses!
"There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all ONE (EQUAL) in Christ Jesus" (Gal.3:28).

You claim to follow Jesus yet you reject what he said in Matthew 5:17-18 which clearly says you *ARE* still under the law of Moses.

You are a hypocrite and twist Mt.5:17-18. "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled." See the answer: "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new" (2 Cor.5:17).

Jesus said that both Law and Prophets are fulfilled in Him. When I fulfill the purpose of something that does not contine apart from me. The verse you bring says the OPPOSITE to what youi ignorantly claim. The old earth has passed away for a Christian (2 Cor.5:17). Furthermore the proof that you don't knpow what you are talking about is the rest of Mt. chapter 5. There Jesus actually CORRECTS the law. "For the law was given BY MOSES, but grace and truth came BY JESUS CHRIST". (Jhn 1:17).

People's New Testament "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets. The preceding verses were so opposed to the teachings of the scribes and Pharisees that some might assert that he was a destroyer of the law. He replies that he has not come to destroy it, but to fulfill".
