@crabfishlion I'm sorry, i have to correct you there, our duty is not to help the poor, it is to Grow in our personal, REAL, relationship with the Lord, and to Further his Kingdom out of our love for him. We have no "Duty" the reason we do things like Give to the poor is to grow closer to God and to expierence him. Also if giving to the poor isnt what were called to do then there is no shame in that. We all have a purpose and a plan. And God has a plan for us to prosper.

@sicilianoXassassinoX I disagree 100%. As Christians we should always be the most compassionate, understanding, giving and tolerant. As Christians we are here to end the suffering on earth, that is the only way to get as close to God as one can. If one refuses to give to the poor and not have good will for the impovershed, then that very apathy and act is going against Jesus teachings. Giving to the poor is a basic Christian principle that ought to be taken more seriously.

Jaci, I love a lot of your songs, but I have to say this is not my favorite one, that you sing. I love Lindsey Ciresi's version of this song though. It may be because I heard hers first at the beginning of the year. It seems to fit her voice a little better. I'm looking forward to hearing another song on the radio by you. :}
