@youseuf: Bioarchaeology and paleontology definitely overlap, however paleontology tends to study fossils much more than mere skeletal remains. If you want to do paleontology broadly speaking, then taking geology courses particularly in stratigraphy and sedimentology, pate tectonics, paleobiology, and biogeography would be a very good idea, and would be required knowledge for a paleontologist. If you want to do paleoanthropology, bioarchaeology is a fine background, but bio electives are good.

aww bummer I've never been on a bioarchaeology field school but i'm hoping to go to grad school for bioarchaeology so hopefully in the future!
