In the UK the waiting time for colon cancer treatment has turned a USA 82% cure rate to 53%. The medical centers must slow the treatment down to match the pace of payment.

Let's pretend a medical center treats 10 people for cancer at a price of $100,000 each.
Obama is taking 8 months to refund tuition to GIs.
So in 8 months the medical center will have it's 1 milion dollars and will then be able to afford to repeat the process.

The notion that people in government-run health care systems die waiting is a myth put forth by insurance companies in the US. The truth is, health care is already rationed in the US by the insurance companies and people die all the time not because they wait but because they are DENIED coverage. The statistic that always stops me is that whatever you feel about long lines, etc.--the US has the highest infant mortality rate of any developed country in the world. That's a WHO stat.
