@xmodrock The CCX is only just barely powered by a Ford engine, if you stretch the definition. The engine is completely reengineered and not truly recognizable. Essentially it is a shortcut, making the most out of what you can dredge up rather than taking on the cost of from-scratch engineering a complete engine. This car is much more than the lump of metal they started out with.

Koenigsegg USED to use Ford V8's in their super cars. As for now though, they have their own independent V8.

I say as gsxrful, what many people dont understand is a koeningsegg really is like being in a spaceship, its like many people have missed that we are really in a turningpoint in time where we enter the new times. This is about physics and the laws of universe. Not sayin that either car is better or lesser, just sain that behind these supercars there are some serious scinece, moving in 300kmh as a human is kinda of wakeup call for the time were in, i like it.

What both of you are missing is that the K's 4,7 litre engine is in fact, not naturally aspirated. It's fed by twin superchargers. Also you have to factor in the price. The koenigsegg costs almost 10 times as much as a Corvette ZR1. This isn't US vs Europe. It's (relatively) cheap vs expensive as hell.

@MrXyborg we both know that the ccx is turbocharged . but what you are missing is the amount of power that the almost twice as smaller engine of the ccx is producing compared to the almost twice as large displacement of the zr1. yes quality has a price being a ccx is like being in a space ship u get what u pay for. on the other hand being in a zr1 is like being in a shitbox compared to the ccx. i'v seen both cars and the difference is not even comparable.

It's called the Top Gear spoiler since it was made by TGs request. Koenigsegg offers that spoiler and it's called the top gear spoiler in the orderbooks, then they have 2 more spoilers, the larger version of the top gear spoiler and the edition spoiler.

1st time Jeremy tested the car it had no spoiler and crashed. some episodes later the same car was mounted with a spoiler being the top gear spoiler.
