You guys are thinking to "inside the box" with this "feel" technology. Yes being able to touch fur on your Nintendog is nice but is NOWHERE near the actual benefits of a texture screen.

The big innovation is that the touch screen could be used for tactile feed back buttons. Meaning you don't need to take your eyes off the tv to look for the button to press on the touch screen.The button part physically feels different from the rest of the screen. Dev can create custom button layouts with this.

i understand that this technology exists and it sounds very cool but it contradicts the rumors about nintendo wanting to strengthen its relations with 3rd parties, and if they do this it makes not sense if they want to strengthen that. and i cant see how it will affect your gameplay on a home console. this is probably something they might want to put on a ds not a controller for a home console. so those are my thoughts about this. oh btw nice vid i subscribed :)

The haptic tech ology is nowhere near sophisticated enough or mature enough to really realize the concept they talked about.
